I hope someone has some suggestions as i can't get into the doctor for a couple of days..! When i feed my DD (5months) my nipple feels like it is being stabbed as she starts drinking and then when there is a let down and the milk comes fast it hurts even more and brings tears to my eyes. After a few minutes it must go numb as i can't feel anything after that until the next feed. It is only like that in one breast and i have been getting random pains through the breast as well. Has anyone else heard of or had this problem. There are no outward signs that there is anything wrong (just a slight purple color on one side of the nipple) Any suggestions on relief would be greatly welcomed. Thankyou :-)
